FORUM8 has provided the software and technology services which support the designing of civil engineering and construction including structure design since the company foundation, on the basis of the development technology of packaged software. With the development of virtual reality technology from 2020, FORUM8’s products and solutions are now being used extensively for a wide range of projects, for traffic and automotive research, and for information system in general. In addition, FORUM8 is energetically promoting a sustainable society and the age of DX through providing software and services on cloud.

Foundation of our growth is the development of creative software. We developed and improved the virtual reality software UC-win/Road and the dynamic non-linear analysis software UC-win/FRAME (3D), and in 2009, we released Engineer's Studio®. As for the cloud service, UC-1 for SaaS was released in 2013 ahead of other companies in the industry. They have then evolved to UC-1 Cloud program series. VR-Cloud® was chosen as the cloud contract research from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and we acquired a lot of patents thanks to it. In addition, great products such as FEMLEEG and Shade3D were added to FORUM8 product portfolio through M&A, expanding the development of 3D and VRCG.

Metavania F8VPS released in 2020 has also been selected for Next-Generation Software Platform Demonstration Project by the METI. In 2024, we released Majimon F8NFTS based on the block chain technology, and FOXAI (F8-AI MANGA®), a general-purpose illustration generative AI.

As for the activities to improve the in-house system and to strengthen the organization, many international standards have been introduced such as ISO, Quality Management System (QMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS) ,Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), and PrivacyMark certification. In 2016, we acquired Environmental Management System (EMS), and then we obtained DX Certification for our DX promotion system. In 2025, we received the Japan-first NDD Accreditation. We released Data Eraser Suite® in 2019, and we have contributed to the promotion of sustainable society by spreading cloud services and improving the business quality.

In 2015, we were selected as "Top 100 Aggressive IT SME of Japan Award" by the METI and received "CRM Best Practice Award". We have continued to receive "CRM Best Practice Award" every year since then. In December 2019, FORUM8 is awarded The 8th Monodzukuri Nippon Grand Awards METI Minister's Award for Connection acceleration among various technologies and industries by UC-win/Road open data cooperation.

Furthermore, under our medium‑ to long‑term management policy that looks toward sustainable growth, we are working on business expansion and the enhancement of corporate value as a “10 Billion Declaration” company. We also made significant progress in changing the way of we work as we were certified as an "Eruboshi" company and "Kurumin" certification that promote women's participation and advancement in the workplace, the gold certification for the "TOKYO Paternity Promotion Company", and the Health Management Company certification.

Our product support and service have had a high evaluation, and we released the 152nd issue of our public relations magazine Up&Coming. In November 2025, many FORUM8 users joined the "19th FORUM8 Design Festival 3Days+Eve" and the "10th Autonomous Driving / Sustainable Conference".

FORUM8 also focuses on TV commercial deployment, publishing technical books such as "VR Impact", as well as the TV program that we made for the 30th anniversary of our establishment in May 2017. In addition to participating in the Osaka Kansai Expo and contributing to sports promotion as a WRC World Rally Championship partner, we also serve as the title sponsor of Ms. Yumi Matsutoya’s nationwide concert tour as part of our support for women’s empowerment.

With the acquisition of the "Drone School Osaka Namba" business, we will expand our business to drone measurement services and inspection work.

From 2026, we will apply our VR, simulation, and AI technologies to simulations of space construction, moon surface driving, and humanoid robots, as "FORUM8 Space Satellite Solution Space-F8".
