Using Shade3D for showroom and event booth design
TEAM IWAKIRI PRODUCTS, which is currently involved in the design of numerous spaces such as showrooms for automobile manufacturers including MASERATI, Lexus, and TOYOTA, as well as offices, restaurants, and shop displays, introduced Shade3D when it designed the FORUM8's exhibition booth at the Milano Salone SUPERDESIGN SHOW 2022. Shade3D helped to design a space while checking the realistic images when showing a private exhibition space in a huge space like the warehouse at the Milano Salone, where it was difficult to realistically reproduce the atmosphere of light, etc.
"When designing a booth, in order to make the event venue look dynamic, we often create a 3D drawing for the customer to confirm the design image first, but with typical CG software, we need to render after creating a volume. Shade3D is very useful because we can see on the preview screen how the shape will look in real lighting", says the president.
In addition, when designing a showroom for a car manufacturer, an office reception area, an entrance hall in a condominium common area, or a residential interior, they provide not only a report with main perspective drawings, but also images with client's selected fixtures and furniture in place, so that the client can see in detail what kind of space will be created when the furniture is actually installed, using realistic 3D room images created with Shade3D.
They commented, "We divide works into levels and create reports efficiently. For example, one person creates draft data based on simple modeling and previewing quickly, while another person works on the detailed rendering in parallel".
Considering the use of Metaverse with F8VPS
While doing design work between Japan and Italy, the president is thinking about using the spaces created with Shade3D in the metaverse in the future. "Currently, I go to Italy to buy products and sell imported furniture and accessories in Japan, but on the other hand, I would like to sell Japanese products in Bologna, Italy. In the metaverse space, I want to create an entry point for people from all over the world to see Japanese products and culture, try them out as if it were a game, and become familiar with them. As a next step, I would like to actually sell Japanese products at World Heritage Sites in Italy."
